Jr. Lancer U-18 head coach Mike Morton is pleased to announce the addition of Jake Oertmeyer to the U18 coaching staff for the 2008-2009 season. Jake’s biography will be coming soon.

We have moved the start date for the Summer Initiation Program to July 12 at 9am (Tranquility Ice Plex)and extended it through September 6th.

NOTICE: Late fee’s will be waived until June 30th due to registration packets being mailed out late. (There is no late fee for IP skaters). Please fill out all forms and mail to: O.M.A.H.A. Youth Hockey, 12550 West Maple Rd., Omaha, NE. 68164.

Head coaches application deadline for O.M.A.H.A. Youth Hockey has been extended to July 11th, 2008. We are accepting applications for Jr. Maverick, House/Rec., and High School head coaches.

O.M.A.H.A. Summer Hockey in conjunction with Complete Hockey Skills Development Programs. All O.M.A.H.A. summer hockey programs will be instructed by our ‘New” Coaching Director-John Thomas.

Summer IP-Mite/Squirt & Peewee League

June Board meeting: Monday, June 30th, Tranquility Ice Plex-6:00pm.

O.M.A.H.A. would like to announce that we are participating in USA Hockey’s program of offering rental gear in small and large sizes for our first time Initiation Program Skaters. Please be sure to check the box on the 08′-09′ Registration form stating that you are interested in checking out a set of gear. We have 20 sets of small and 20 sets of large ordered.
The cost is $60.00 for the season. Each set includes shin pads, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants (breezers) gloves, a helmet with cage, and a bag. Players will need to purchase skates, mouth guard, stick, & compression pants separately.

Sets will be available in late July or early August. Please contact our Office Director if you have any questions or concerns.
