| Junior Lancer
Hockey gives elite skaters an opportunity to play in the
Central States Developmental Hockey League competing
against other Midget Major and Minor teams from St.
Louis, Chicago, and Peoria, Illinois areas. The program
also provides a schedule of Midget tournaments at the
AA, and AAA level. The purpose
of this program is to enhance the skills of Midget
players to give them a chance to continue on to Junior
Hockey and our ultimate hope, to the college level.
Former Junior Lancer players have advanced to Junior and
College programs as well as professional hockey leagues
Junior Lancer players MUST provide a good scholastic record, potential, skill, good attitudes
and the endurance to practice at least 4 to 5 hours a week, every week.
This program is not for everyone, this is competetive hockey at a high level,
only those that want to be part of the best should tryout.
A typical season
consists of about 50 to 60 games. Travel is mainly in the Midwest but trips outside the region do happen in the
tournament schedule. |
